Leased plane had 'social benefits', says Lautafi

The former Minister for Samoa Airways says the previous administration was aware of the marginal profit risks associated with their decision to lease a Boeing 737-800.
But they decided to go ahead and seal the deal as the “social benefits” that would flow onto the country were immense.
