Tuia secures Safata No.2 seat

Tuia Fuatogi Pu'a Letoa of the Human Rights Protection Party (HRPP) has officially won the seat of Safata No.2 following the official count on Monday.
Tuia polled 650 votes, finishing ahead of Faatuatua i le Atua Samoa ua Tasi (FAST) candidate Tupai John Mathes, who collected 628 votes. In third place was independent candidate Laumatiamanu Ringo Purcell with 287 votes, while Toleafoa Losalia Niumata of Samoa Labour Party (SLP) secured 28 votes.
A total of 1,593 valid votes were cast across the constituency.
