A political party informed the owners of a venue they had intended to hire that they do not have any money yet. The party was told that rules apply to everyone equally, and the venue must be paid for in advance.

People will get to hear of more election promises as the caretaker government party announces their manifesto. They could be the first party to make education free.

COST CUTTING

Some believe that it is just the start of government cost-cutting. While lights and air conditioning units are being turned off, if this continues, overtime pay for government workers could be next.

FASTER

The move by the New Zealand government to offer longer visas that allow multiple travel is the start of new things. People are hoping that there could be some improvements in the processing time for visa applications.

SCHOOL

The roads will get busier in the mornings with some private schools re-opening for the new school term. Plan well and leave early. Road rage will only increase blood pressure.

CHURCH BEAT

Talk about dropping a beat. Some very talented church ministers and their spouses stole the show at a church music function.
