Between the Lines

BULLYING

A local musician took to bullying a scribe after allegations of assault were revealed. Social media has empowered many to make such claims. The musician should realise that such behaviour could result in more legal complications.

GLITCH

Some payments have not been made, and some people who deserved them are very unhappy. This could be just a glitch in the matrix. Then again, this could be pointing to even more serious issues.

GOVT CARS

Vehicles belonging to the sacked associate ministers are being driven around. There has been more than one incident. Shouldn’t they be parked and await new appointments, or is there a lack of vehicles?

CHALLENGES

The move to have voter and candidacy challenges before the elections does sound good. It would allow a clean election and avoid a lot of hassles later for both the judiciary and the elections office. It is still a wonder why some political parties are opposed to this notion.

BOOMING

Business is booming for most, as there is an influx of overseas Samoans in the country. Most are here to be part of the church conferences that are on. Hopefully, most food items are in stock.

REWARDS

Good show from Team Samoa at the Pacific Mini Games. The group of 40 or so athletes hauled in 67 medals in total, 29 being gold. Hopefully, they are rewarded by the private sector as the caretaker government may not have the funds.
