There could be pending legal challenges regarding the top job at the tourism department. While that eventuates, it would be a wonder if anyone gets hired within the three months of restricted budget use.

BLOGGERS

Overseas social media bloggers who have been allegedly defaming Samoans at home must be shivering to take the plane to the motherland. After one was recently charged, the fake news bloggers overseas are surely on their toes.

DIVISION

The latest notion on the division of the red party, given by their leader, is a coalition and differing political views. Ironically, it has nothing to do with him not wanting to resign as a cabinet minister when he was charged.

CHALLENGES

A few challenges are likely to be made for candidacy, as some are hoping to contest in constituencies they have hardly set foot in. A matai title from the area may not be enough.

FEES

It is good news for students at the local universities whose fees were delayed by their district councils. Most are now looking forward to next semester. However, many have questioned if things would change if a new government came in and the grants were not continued.

RISKY

While the back of a pickup truck can carry quite a few people, the safety of the passengers is of concern. The risk is doubled if the driver is speeding.
