The new party on the block is preparing a big surprise to counter what the blue party has offered. Free education up to secondary school could be an offer they would be making. It is yet to be seen.

POOR HEALTH

The national hospital is not in a good state, but many did not expect the health head office to be in a state worse than the hospital. A visitor said it smelled. All these buildings are in ‘poor health’.

RAIN WORRY

The current weather conditions do not bode well for the free concert this Friday with the top artists from all over the Pacific. The weather in Samoa is unpredictable; the sun could come out smiling on Friday.

UNEQUAL

The church leader who has called for babies born out of wedlock not to receive any financial help needs to do some serious reflection. Is he implying that all babies are not equal in the eyes of God, and therefore not equal in the eyes of the government, if the blue party wins?

SPORTS REWARDS

The Solomon Islands government has announced $7,000 for gold medal winners, $3,000 for silver and $2,000 for bronze for the Mini Games. Meanwhile, in Samoa, Pacific Games athletes from 2023 are awaiting their rewards.

ROAD SAFETY

Children need to be taught how to behave near roads that have heavy traffic. Two children were spotted on Wednesday morning, playing a game of pushing each other onto the road. For them, it was funny. For the drivers, it was not. For the parents, is this what you teach at home?
