The term ‘caretaker’ does not mean that the executive just babysits the functions of the government. If there is misuse and abuse, they have the power to take action.

Despite the drizzle and gloomy weather, many were at Friendship Park for the Pacific Break Concert on Friday night. This also meant business for the night operators, especially for the eateries.

CHARGES

One or two members of the police could be facing charges for the death of a man from Moamoa who died in police custody a few months back. Good to see the boys in blue keeping up with all the process to hold their staff accountable.

CHALLENGES

One thing is for sure that there will be more than a few challenges to candidacy for many. The question of the service to the village comes into question, and some have been absent from these villages for years.
