Between the Lines

NEUTRAL

It is rather strange seeing the current council of deputies appearing at political party meetings. Two have been seen at the red party events, with one being prominently featured in pictures. Neutrality seems to be out the window.

BOSSES

Big question marks on the bosses of two government departments still hang. One has been on suspension for over four months now, and another just a month.

CAUGHT OUT

It is strange to see politicians refraining from talking to the media when the fibs they tell are caught out. The spin they come up with is that the media has twisted their words. It is ok if they do it on social media videos they post, but not so ok when they are caught out.

BUILDING

The new building belonging to the public service union is almost ready and is more of a welcome sight than the monstrosity that used to stand there. Hopefully, the union has flood insurance.

AGE

Age is just a number, but not when you are over 20 years old and playing in the U17 grade. Some teams have been guilty of fielding overage players in club age-grade games. This was the reason why a separate school competition was organised so a national team could be picked.

WRONG HOUSE
