Between the Lines

RESTING

Getting ready for elections is hard work. No wonder a politician from the blue party was spotted snoring away during a press conference. He was just taking a well-deserved rest.

BABY BOOM

There could be a boom in the national population, with many expecting to claim the $500 per person under a proposed election promise. 10 people in a family means $5,000 annually.

CHURCHES

As the election nears, more clergy are making statements aligned with their favoured parties and candidates. A separation of church and politics is needed; otherwise, the nation is in for a bumpy ride.

RUMOURS

Contrary to the rumours being spread that the high-profile case has been dismissed, no such thing has happened. The politicians and their co-accused could still face jail time. The matter has only been adjourned.

FISH STOCKS

Fish exports from the country have slumped to zero. The excuse is that there are no companies doing exports, and there is a decrease in fishermen. That would explain the price of fish at the market.

PHOTO

Protect your pictures online. A family was shocked to find out that their picture was being used for an online scam. Once it's uploaded to the public domain, there is no guarantee of who will do what with your imagery.
