NIGHT PATROLS

Kudos to the village council of Vaiala who are now implementing a patrol along the seawall after 9 pm to ensure that people are not loitering and consuming alcohol after hours.

KEEP IT COOL

A food establishment‘s Facebook page reached an all-time high with the number of hits on Friday. This is a video showing a customer wanting to beat up staff because her orders were slow and started making rounds.

WRONG TIMING

A primary school that was meant to support the teams in the second semi-final in Tuanaimato had a mix-up of time. The school arrived for the earlier game. The children sure did not complain.

THAT POTHOLE

Some vehicle owners are dreading taking Fugalei Road. A pothole is becoming unavoidable and deeper. Smaller vehicles have sustained damage and the hole will only get bigger as traffic flows continuously.

SCHOOL POLICY

Let us hope the boys in blue have not forgotten their operation of making sure all children are in school. Some children continue to sell items during school hours and there is quite a handful of them.

FULL WHARF

The wharf will be full in October. There are plans to bring cruise liners to accommodate the large contingent coming from 50-plus countries. Hope there are no strong currents during then.
