Broke airline's lease breached companies law: former A.G.

The leasing of a new aircraft by the highly indebted Samoa Airways apparently breached companies law rules against trading while insolvent, a new legal opinion has found. 

The apparent breach of companies law may carry implications for the company’s directors, whose failure to inform the Government of the company’s financial stability, the report, signed by former veteran Attorney General Taulapapa Brenda Heather-Latu found.
