Two new Chief Executive Officers were appointed by the cabinet on Tuesday, confirmed Prime Minister La'aulialemalietoa Leuatea Schmidt on Wednesday.

He said the cabinet has appointed Fepuleai Roger Toleafoa as the new Chief Executive Officer for the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Labour.

Laaulialemalietoa sais Toleafoa has been working for many years, serving the ministry internationally and locally in pursuing its targets and strategies.

He said the cabinet believes Toleafoa is the right candidate to lead the ministry for the next three years.

Leasosolifaleupolu Ronnie Siaosi Aiolupotea was appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology,. He had been acting in te role.
