Earthquake measuring 5.8 rattles Samoa

A 5.8 magnitude earthquake shook Samoa at 6:18pm on Tuesday evening.

The Samoa Meteorological Office confirmed the earthquake struck the region of Tonga at a depth of 10 kilometres, nearly 200 kilometres southwest of Apia.
