Va'aaoao wins Gagaemauga No.1 seat
Va'aaoao Salumalo Alofipo has secured the Gagaemauga No.1 seat after the final count.

Fa'atuatua i le Atua Samoa ua Tasi Party (FAST) secretary Va'aaoao Salumalo Alofipo has secured the seat for Gagaemauga No.1 after the final count on Tuesday night.
Va'aaoao collected 31 special votes and 483 total votes. Caretaker Deputy Prime Minister Tuala Iosefo Ponifasio of the Samoa Uniting Party (SUP) got 312 total votes and 13 special votes.
Tevaga Mikaele Ah Lam of the Human Rights Protection Party (HRPP) collected 12 special votes and 192 total votes, while independent candidate Lauano Mulivai Lauano collected 12 special votes and 236 total votes.
