Four ballot boxes from Friday to be counted Monday

Four polling booths from Savaii were not counted on Friday night because the Electoral Commissioner, Tuiafelolo John Stanley, said the four polling booths had placed the tally sheets in the ballot boxes.
He said they have to hand-carry the tally sheet and not place it in the ballot boxes, so they cannot open it because that would be tampering.
They will wait until Monday to open those ballot boxes while the scrutineers are present and then count the preliminary results for those four booths.
The four ballot boxes are from three different constituencies, Gagaifomauga 3- Sasina Metotisi, Gagaifomauga 1- Safotu Katoliko and Gagaimauga 2 - Safai AOG and Satoalepai EFKS.
