Independent candidate Fiu Faaolatane Ponifasio Vasa has won the Palauli No.2 seat with 632 votes, edging out another independent, Faaolatane Fiu Tuala Iona Pao, who finished just one vote behind on 631 votes.

Fiu’s strongest support came from polling booth 49.6, where he secured 212 votes, while Faaolatane’s highest tally was 177 votes at booth 49.7.

Leota Laki Lamositele Sio of the Fa'atuatua i le Atua Samoa ua Tasi (FAST) party finished third with 251 votes, followed by independent Tiatia Faleupolu Tevita with 156 votes.

Faasuaiau Naifoua Salu Asiata Selesele Tanielu of the Human Rights Protections Party (HRPP) collected 55 votes, the highest share being 25 votes at booth 49.4.

Tuisata Tiatia Fiu Hay Dempsey L Kalapu of the Samoa Uniting Party (SUP) received the lowest total of 15 votes, with his strongest showing being 8 votes at booth 49.5.
