Using someone’s picture as a profile picture is not uncommon; however, it is worrying when people start taking pictures of women they do not know and making claims of dating them. A woman was shocked when approached by another asking when she started going out with her brother.

UNPROFESSIONAL

A need for the professional standards unit of the police to look into the behaviour of some officers who call women complainants and propose dinner dates.

Interviews for another top government post were concluded last week. The next briefing by the top man could lead to the announcement of more top appointments.

LIKES

People would do anything for a few likes, even put up videos of their elderly in their adult diapers. Putting a gospel song to such a video does not give people back their dignity lost through such actions.

BAMBOO GUNS

A lot of bamboo guns were used over the Christmas holiday period. There have been accidents, including burns, suffered from using bamboo guns.

CASHIERS

Cashiers at major supermarkets took the full brunt of frustrated customers during the Christmas shopping rush. A little empathy is needed; most of these women spend more than eight hours on their feet, and some things are not in their control.
