Between the Lines
NO BREAK
You cannot keep a good man down. It was good to see the police putting up checkpoints despite the rain on Monday. The law never takes a break.
REPORT IT
If people have been physically abused, they should make a report to the police instead of crying on social media with a bloodied face. Justice does not work that way.
INTERESTING
An interesting week ahead as the courts will deliberate on the cases stemming from parliament. We will get to see if the constitutional change remains or gets thwarted.
NO CHARGES
Those teens in school uniforms will not be charged by the police. The law requires possession, and the video evidence is not enough to prove that it was narcotics.
PRICES
Prices for vegetables at the market vary on different days. The same bunch of bananas or taro will cost people double on the weekdays and less on the weekends. Where is the fairness?
OUT OF STOCK
It seems to be that time when imported products like meat and fruit are running out. The good cuts of meat are out of stock in most places.
