Between the Lines

KIA ORA

A serious typo was corrected from a big CHOGM banner placed in town. With the NZ High Commission just metres away, someone could have checked the correct spelling with them.

FISH FEARS

People are now thinking twice about buying fish. Many are fearful that the fish could have been caught in the fuel-contaminated areas. The prohibition still stands.

TOO SMALL

Where is the fisheries enforcement unit? Fish sold on the roadside near to the town are not only overpriced but too small for the table. Is anyone worried about food security?

AVA SALE

Ava sale must be up with the contingent of Fijian police officers in the country. A strong ava mix must be the secret behind their angelic voices demonstrated at the police academy in Tifaigata.

CIVILIANS

Hats off to the civilians who have put their hands up to help with security during CHOGM. It was just a surprise to see one or two of them having one in the oven and ready to pop.

DRONES

Drone owners, if you are authorised to fly in the CHOGM zones, you will find that your device will not work as drone jammers would most likely be put up for security reasons.
