FUND ABUSE
More reports of abuse involving the $1 million district grants are emerging. The ministry responsible needs to make all audited reports available online and not leave it to the district councils.
GROUND PROBLEM
The quarter finals of the rugby league competition had to be postponed because the ground they were supposed to play on was booked by another sport.
LATE
People will show up to work late this Thursday and Friday and some even pull a sick leave. The Manu Samoa sevens will be in action early morning on those days.
BEER FACTORY
The beer factory construction is still underway. The predicted time for its opening was in August. Hopefully, it is on time as people look forward to the return of Vailima to Samoa and work for people.
AMNESTY
It is time a gun amnesty is done again. The number of firearms out there and their use in crimes is concerning. Let’s invest in those $80,000 pig traps instead of guns.
POTHOLES
While the main road from the airport has been fixed, the inner roads and back roads have potholes big enough to do an ‘umu’.
