Between the Lines

AFEGA

It happened as stated. Afega villagers continued to work in disputed land in Leauvaa. Tension was high and hopefully, the boys in blue were there to stop any unwanted incidents.

STRANGE ACCIDENTS

A rather strange happened at a supermarket car park when a four-wheel drive vehicle ended up on a small post. This could be a case for the eye doctor.

PARTNER

It is somehow strange that a telco that has an abysmal record is going to partner with one of the leading satellite companies in the world. Something just does not feel right.

CHOSEN ONE

The word on the grapevine is that it was not the satellite company that approached the government but the other way around and a local company with no proven track record chosen.

INFLATED

Sentencing of a petty theft has revealed that sometimes the victims of the crime inflate the figure stolen. The victims had claimed theft of more than $1000, during sentencing it was revealed only $30 was taken.

UPDATE

Rather worrying to see little to no work being done on the site chosen for a local brewery. The opening date was given for June and production to start in August. There is $11 million of SNPF money involved.
