The word of the month is shortage. There is a shortage of chicken, sugar, food items, teachers, nurses, doctors, lawyers, police officers, and above all common sense.

There was confusion at the intersection in Pesega along the main road as traffic signals were not working, Wednesday afternoon. The bigger cars bullied the smaller ones and nobody in blue was in sight to control traffic.

Speaking of unsuccessful ventures, are the Talamua harvests happening or not? The Ministry of Agriculture needs to get real ideas that have been tested and proven.

PERMANENT

It seems that the beached vessel in Matautu will become a permanent feature of the Apia seashore. There is no word from owners or authorities on when it will be removed.
