Be careful during land dealings. A chief was taken to court after he made claims to a business that he owned the land. The freehold land was cleared and the chief took thousands of dollars.

EDUCATION COSTS

When a search is entered into the web about the cost of education in Samoa, it says education is free for children up to 12 years. Ask the parents they will tell you and this information needs to be updated.

CONUNDRUM

Some young Catholics are still in a conundrum as Ash Wednesday coincides with Valentine's Day. Wonder if any of these young ones cancel their plans. Do not go to church if you do not mean it.

ALCOHOL-RELATED

Still on Ash Wednesday, there was a lot of alcohol consumed in the weekend by those who intend to give up alcohol for the Lent season. Some even have planes for Tuesday night but end it before midnight.

HEAT

Last year may have been the hottest year on record, with the current heat being felt in the day, there could be a new record. At least companies selling air-conditioners are happy.
