Tuilagi backs his boys
Manu Samoa backline coach Tuilagi Alesana Tuilagi believes the chemistry among the young brood of players is helping them function as a better team.
Manu Samoa faces Spain on Saturday at the Apia Park Stadium.
Tuilagi said they can't wait for the test match on the weekend.
"It's been good so far, the boys are up for the challenge again like last week. But this week we are planning on finishing on a high note, especially with this new group of players and the new management. We look forward to the challenge this week against the Spaniards," he said.
"This group they are young, they are from different rugby clubs, and they play on different levels but the way they reacted last week with the game against Italy, shows that everything is about pride and love for Samoa.
"They've been preparing well for the upcoming challenge and I've seen how they connect inside our camp, they have just become the Manu Samoa family.
Tuilagi said joining the Manu Samoa squad would immediately make a player a member of the Manu Samoa family as he reminisced on his time as a player.
This is the first ever international test match between Manu Samoa and Spain. Samoa is currently ranked 13th on the World Rugby rankings while Spain is 19th.
Manu Samoa could drop in rankings and Spain climb if the results go in favour of the visitors. Spain has already stated that they have nothing to lose and Manu Samoa should expect a fiery game from them.
