Tuilaepa disagrees with ANZAC Day public holiday moves
Moves are afoot within the Government to restore the ANZAC Day public holiday which is normally commemorated 25 April annually.
But the Human Rights Protection Party (H.R.P.P.) leader and former Prime Minister has decried the proposal, saying his Administration scrapped the public holiday in response to the private sector’s concerns of Samoa having too many public holidays, which were impacting their business.
