Man breaks into family home, caught on camera
A family in Samoa is warning the public to protect their homes after a man broke into their home carrying a knife. The incident was captured on security camera footage.
The incident involved the home of Charlotte Teresa Chan Mow and Leitaualesa Jerry Brunt. The family later reviewed their security cameras and discovered the attempted break-in.
In a Facebook post, the family shared multiple video clips showing a man believed to be in his mid-30s entering the property.
The family wrote that the man tried to force entry into their home but was unsuccessful. They also said he had earlier broken into a neighbour’s home and stolen from them.
The footage shows the man moving inside the property during the incident. He was seen taking an underclothing.
The post urged the public to stay alert and included images of the suspect, asking people to share the information with police.
The family also said they plan to print copies of the images and distribute them to nearby shops to help identify the man.
