No case to answer submission made in conspiracy trial

Judge Talasa Atoa-Sa'aga is set to deliver a ruling on a 'no case to answer' submission from the defence counsels of the six defendants in the conspiracy trial before the District Court.
The lawyers for the six defendants, La'auli Leuatea Schmidt, Fepuleai Faimata Su'a, Samuelu Su'a, Sivai Kepi, Lise-Marie Schmidt and Li'o Fa'ataumalama presented their submissions based on the contradictory testimony of prosecution witness Marie Tusi.
Judge Talasa adjourned the court to 10 am on Wednesday to deliver the ruling.
