Panoa passes away

Former Samoa National Provident Fund chairman Papalii Panoa Moala has passed away. It is believed that he died on Wednesday night.
Papalii became the board chair for SNPF in 2021 and held onto the position until this year. He, however, remained a board member. Previously, he served as the chief executive of SNPF. He served on many boards in his capacity as the SNPF chair.
The cause of his death has not been confirmed. Family and friends have started posting condolence messages on social media.
The family is yet to provide details on funeral arrangements.
