Fesolai wins A‘ana Alofi 1 seat
FAST candidate Fesoalai Apulu Tuigamala secured the seat for A'ana Alofi No.1 after the final count on Wednesday.

Fesolai Apulu Tusiupu Tuigamala of the Fa‘atuatua i le Atua Samoa ua Tasi (FAST) party claimed the A‘ana Alofi 1 seat in the final count on early Wednesday morning.
Fesolai polled 932 votes, ahead of HRPP’s Ufagalilo Faamanu Mualia with 797 votes. Independent candidates Taueva Sauvao Faafouina Mupo (473 votes), Fesolai Suafao Tevita Apulu (131 votes), and Leaupepe Tele Filipi Lecaupete (43 votes) trailed behind.
A total of 1,993 valid votes and 14 informal votes were recorded. The result strengthens FAST’s presence in the A‘ana region as the Electoral Commissioner prepares to certify the outcome.
