Loau retains Sagaga No.1

The Human Rights Protection Party (HRPP) candidate, Loau Solamalemalo Keneti Sio, has officially retained the Sagaga No. 1 seat.
Loau secured a total of 1,629 votes, defeating Fa’atuatua i le Atua Samoa ua Tasi (FAST) candidate Samaina Kirisome Tulimatala Taulapapa, who received 1,073 votes.
The total valid votes for the constituency amounted to 2,702, with an additional 30 informal votes bringing the overall number of ballots cast to 2,732.
With the final count completed, Loau’s win reaffirms HRPP’s hold on the constituency as the election results are now confirmed.
