Ale Vena Ale retains Faleata No.4 seat

Faʻatuatua i le Atua Samoa ua Tasi (FAST) Party candidate Ale Vena Ale has taken a commanding lead in the Faleata No.4 constituency following the official count of votes from the 2025 General Election.

According to figures displayed at the Electoral Commission’s official tally centre, Ale secured 1,226 votes, placing him well ahead of his rivals. His closest competitor, HRPP’s Pepe Christian Fruean, polled 672 votes, while SUP candidate Mapu Tafaigata Toilolo received 149 votes.

The total number of valid votes cast in the constituency was 2,047, with Ale capturing the majority share. Informal votes numbered eight, while 10 special votes were set aside, and no apparent dual votes were recorded.

Across the constituency’s polling booths, Ale consistently outperformed his opponents. He polled highest in booths 8.2 and 8.5, receiving 334 and 216 votes, respectively. His support was also strong in pre-polling, where he gathered 122 votes, and in the special votes category, where he collected 31 votes.

Pepe’s strongest showing came in booth 8.4 with 174 votes, while Mapu’s support was scattered across the booths, his best result being 77 votes in booth 8.1.

The total number of votes cast in Faleata No.4 was 2,065, combining valid, informal, and set-aside ballots.
