Official count to end Thursday
Official counting will take four days according to the schedule released by the Office of the Electoral Commission on Monday morning.
The schedule is for the official counts for pre-polling, special votes and also the votes on the general election day last Friday.
The schedule given is as follows:
Monay 2 September
10am: Vaimauga 1, Vaimauga 2, Vaimauga 3, Vaimauga 4, Safata 2, A'ana Alofi 2, Faleata 3, Faleata 4
1pm- Gagaifomauga 2, Palauli 2, Palauli 3, Gagaemauga 2, Alataua i Sisifo, Faleata 1, Vaisigano 1, Vaisigano 2.
Tuesday 2 September
9am- Sagaga 1, Sagaga 2, Sagaga 3, Sagaga 4, A'ana Alofi 1, Siumu, A'ana Alofi 3, A'ana Alofi 4.
1pm- Satupaitea, Gagaifomauga 1, Palauli1, Gagaemauga 1, Falealupo, Faasaleleaga 2, Faasaleleaga 3, Gagaifomauga3
Wednesday, 3 September
9am- Aiga ile TAi, Falelatai and Samatau, Lefaga and Faleaseela, Safata 1, Faasaleleaga 5, Anoamaa1, Falealili 1, Falealili 2.
1pm- Lotofaga, Saleaga 1, Saleaga 2, Faasaleleaga 1, Va'a o Fonoti, Faasaleleaga 4, Anoamaa 2, Lepa.
Thursday, 4 September
9am- Aleipata Itupa i Luga, Aleipata Itupa i Lalo.
Scrutineers from each constituency have been requested to adhere to the schedule and be present at the counting.
On Monday morning, scrutineers who were at polling booths on Friday made their way to the OEC operations centre in Tuanaiamto. Police offiocers were also seen performing their duties.
