Between the Lines

PLANE

An Australian Defence plane was sighted going towards Faleolo International Airport. It could be refuelling for a routine patrol, given the number of illegal activities in the region. Unless it was dropping or picking up people.

ANNOUNCEMENTS

A Pacific neighbour is increasing its social welfare payouts to recipients in light of the fuel prices that will come into effect. No such announcements have been made at home. It looks as if everything will be hunky-dory and the Iran conflict will not impact us.

ROTTEN

Meetings have been taking place in the shadows after it was revealed that large amounts of public funds are being abused. If heads do not roll this time, ‘something is really rotten in the state of Denmark.’

ABUSE
