LONG BOATS

MISSING

Many people were surprised to learn that the independence celebrations planned for Monday will be restricted to the parade. There is no indication whether the cultural items will take place.

DUI

Since it is a long holiday, please make sure that you are not driving under the influence of alcohol. The last place where people should be during a public holiday is in the police cell.

GATHERING

While all political parties were present at the courthouse on the election date mentioned, the red party was gathering at their normal venue. The party still believes their leader should be the caretaker PM.

CLEAN UP

It was good to see the law enforcers swapping uniforms for garbage bags, rakes and hand gloves to clean up Apia. All government ministries should take turns, rotating weekly, to provide this service.

DANGEROUS
