OVERWEIGHT NURSES

Nurses have been told to lose weight by the Minister of Health. They were told they cannot tell people to drop a few kilos when they themselves were overweight.

RUDE

Could the Ministry of Health introduce etiquette training in the nursing school. A lot of patients and their family members have complained about the rude behaviour of some of the nurses.

TEACHING REBATE

Teachers with just a diploma could get a nod to teach again to address the shortage of teachers in the country. There are some schools where one teacher is looking after more than three classes.

NO ACTION

There is no word from the police top brass on what action would be taken against the officer who allegedly assaulted a woman in Apia and the whole thing was captured on video.

RESOLUTION

Gyms and fitness houses across the country are waiting for the end of the month. The New Year is when everyone makes a resolution to drop weight and membership skyrockets. Most are temporary resolutions.
