Between the Lines
SOLAR
USP Samoa might want to invest in similar solar electrification work at the Laucala Campus. This was after the power went out as a scholarship ceremony started on Wednesday.
SEVENS
The sevens team arrived back in the country to find only their families waiting for them. They also shied away from the media.
GRANTS
Some districts are giving funds to churches, saying this is the way people can be helped. If churches use that money to build halls or extend churches, does that building belong to the people or the church?
EYEBROWS

MORE LOANS
Thursday and Friday will be very busy at the superannuation body as many will be taking loans again for the holiday this weekend, and some because the church has levied certain amounts to families that need to be paid.
BLOCKED
The torrential rain on Wednesday afternoon once again showed how little to no work has been done to unblock drains clogged by plastic waste. The rain did cool the otherwise scorcher of a day.
