Between the Lines

MEDICS

A U.S. Army medic reckons working in a district hospital on Upolu feels like ‘combat medicine’ due to resource constraints. Imagine if they worked in Savai’i.

A STAR

One Cabinet Minister has become a celebrity of sorts, appearing on livestream programs every week. If only the MPs were equally committed to press conferences.

PRESSER

Government media gurus are also yet to advise if the Samoa-American Samoa leaders will convene a press conference like at the last Atoa o Samoa. Guess times have changed.

WELCOME

CROOKED

Another political record from the region. A lawyer and aspiring politician from PNG was jailed last week for stealing SAT$121 million in public funds between 2007-2011.

DRIER
