Elia Uele, 32, Lelata

We are a Christian country. There are a lot of changes during these times and I guess that's why that question is asked. I am a Christian person and I understand all of these changes. We are still a Christian country.

Pelenatete Malaefou, 26, Aleisa

The people of our country are Christians but the temptation is the reason why people are not acting like Christians. A lot of people don’t go to church anymore. Probably half of Samoa doesn’t go to church.

Tumanuvao Fu’a, 74, Poutasi

Samoa is founded on God. Everything should be Christian because our country is founded on God. There are a lot of changes in life because of the influence from overseas. Samoa has been a Christian country for a long time. In our village there is a rule that everyone should go to church on Sunday.

Sauafa Faatauvaa, 44, Salani

Samoa is founded on God. Many people are Christians now. The influence from overseas is affecting the youth. We are still a Christian country. There are more people today going to church on Sunday.

Tua Toomata, 36, Lefaga

Samoa is a Christian country. That is my opinion, our country is still a country. In my church that I attend I noticed that there has been an increase in the number of people going to church every Sunday. I know that in my church there are more people coming to church.

Taase Nuu, 51, Vailele

We are now at the end of times which is stated in the Book of Daniel. We are Christians and we have known God for a very long time. Some people don’t know because they don’t keep the commandments. There are a lot of people going to church now. We should read the Bible and pray to God.
