Exam changes: Are they necessary?

Muaau Tuilemoa, 65, Faleatiu

I don't support this change. It should remain the same way because, by Year 13, students will be well prepared for their future. If there are any changes then I don't support it.

Afa Sola, 56, Faleasiu

I like this change because before it took them a while to finish school. If there are any changes then it will make things easier for the students and it will also be easier for the students to learn and after that, they will be able to find a job quickly once they finish school. There are changes every day and new stuff is introduced.

Lei Tavita, 30, Faleasiu

I support this new change because it will be great for the students. It will be easier for them to move on to the next level of education and will also prepare them well for looking for a job in the future, they will also be able to go to university more quickly. I support the change that has been made by the government.

Sina Faauuga, 51, Faleasiu

I support this change. The reason why it is nice is that students will be able to move on to the next level of education more quickly now. If the exams for Year 13 are going to be moved to Year 12 then I think students will be able to learn more quickly.

Mikaele Samiu, 57, Faleapuna

It should remain the same way because it might affect the students if these changes are made. If it remains the way that it currently is then that would be great. The students are used to the way things are now so it shouldn't be changed.

Sulufaiga Vaiese, 68, Fasitoo tai

The most important thing is the student's education. Even if there are any changes, we should focus on the education that children are receiving. The changes won't stop the student's education but in my own opinion, their knowledge is really important.
