Reporter Jean Datsun Tuimauga and Photographer Rashmi Lameta talk to the public asking what's their best Christmas present for the loved ones this festive season.

Telesia Amanda Epa, 64, Vaimoso.

"Thank you for this opportunity I know the best present this Christmas for my family is trying to work together as one to decorate in front of our house  and to make our environment look better. I am trying so hard to work these two weeks before Christmas to earn some money to buy gifts for my family this Christmas. I am looking forward to working overseas so that I can support my family, especially my children and that's how a mother is. May God bless us all and wishing you all a Merry Christmas for this year. Toa Samoa team players are on their way and I believed Samoa will enjoy their Christmas when they welcome the boys to our homeland."

Ashton Papalii, 17, Sapapalii.

"For me the best gift for my family is to find a job to earn some money so I can buy ice cream to make them happy. I also want to be with them as it is the most important time this Christmas is to be with family. Family is the best thing in the world that you can't replace."

Ramona Malesala, 47, Toamua.

"For me as a mother what should I give for my family for Christmas is to give them advice each and everyday. We are working hard to get money so that I will surprise them and take them on a holiday this Christmas so we can have a great time as a family. All in all is to be together in one spirit celebrating Christmas."

Dan Tanielu, 20, Lalovaea.

"My best gift for my family this Christmas right now is that I'm working so when I got paid I will do something to surprise my family, especially my parents. I think the best in all is to look after them and listen their advice for me. Merry christmas Samoa."

Brenda Kolio, 26, Toamua.

"At these times people were busy buying things for their families so I think I can do that as well for my family. I want to be with them and be happy together so that we will feel comfortable when we were together. I should be with family during Christmas. I hope Samoa will have a peaceful Christmas this year."

Herman So'otaga, 20, Lalovaea.

"Love is the most important thing for Christmas for my family. I know I don't have enough money to take them on a vacation but show them love especially my parents, family and friends and the one who we hated each other. Love and obey each other, that's the best gift for my family this year. Be there to help each other. Happy and support that's the spirit of the Christmas I want for my family."
