Shooting secures 10 medals
The Samoa Shooting Federation proudly celebrated the outstanding performance of the Samoa National Shooting Team at the prestigious 2025 DTL Oceania Championships, in May at the Auckland Metropolitan Clay Target Club, Pukekohe, Auckland, New Zealand.
The Samoa National Shooting team walked away with a total of 10 medals. Samoa snatched three gold medals, one silver, and six bronze.
"This outstanding performance reflects the hard work and dedication of our athletes and the strong support network behind them. We are extremely proud of the team’s achievements and their excellent representation of Samoa on the international stage," said Stefan Ah Kuoi, the president of the Samoa Shooting Federation.
The Federation expressed its gratitude to the Government of Samoa, sponsors, supporters, coaches, and families whose contributions made this success possible. This achievement further reinforces Samoa’s growing presence in the sport of shooting at the regional and international levels.
Representing Samoa with distinction, the national team demonstrated exceptional skill and determination, earning well-deserved recognition on the international stage.
The eight members for Team Samoa were Dylen Agnes Matagofie, Fata Paul Loibl, Fata Siegfried Levi, Lupesina Georgina Tuala, Leasi Tuiletufuga Galuvao, Leuluaialii Faufata Levi, Rob Maskell, and Taito Stefan Ah Kuoi.
