Court dismisses cases after prosecution's no show
Two criminal cases including one that dealt with a firearm related offence were dismissed by the District Court on Monday after the prosecution failed to turn up for the proceedings.
The police prosecutor, who was tasked to deal with some of the matters in the District Court was absent during the start of proceedings before Judge Loau Donald Kerslake, who reportedly had to wait for sometime before the prosecutor turned up, resulting in the dismissal of the two cases.
