The Samoa National Provident Fund (S.N.P.F.) has announced that the disbursement of the fund’s next dividend payout will begin next week and run from Monday 30 November until Thursday 24 December.

Speaking at a press conference the head of the S.N.P.F., Pauli Prince Suhren, made the announcement and said that the total amount of dividend to be distributed would be $10.6 million tala.

"All of S.N.P.F. offices in Apia, Vaitele and Salelologa will be open to the public for the distribution of the dividend," Pauli said

"The total amount to be distributed next week is $10.6 million."

The S.N.P.F. also issued a payout earlier in July this year. Next week will be the third distribution of a dividend inside 12 months as there was also a distribution in December 2019, July 2020. Meanwhile, a fourth is planned for March 2021.

According to Pauli, members with loans are still eligible to receive this dividend, however, any unredeemed dividend after the 24th December will be credited directly to the members' contribution accounts.

All eligible members are advised to wear masks and adhere to social distancing at the three locations, S.N.P.F. Main Office, SNPF Vaitele Branch and S.N.P.F. Salelologa Branch from 9am to 4pm.
