They may have been excused from classes for the day but 100 students had every reason to smile about school Friday.

Each won $50 in a Samoa Stationery and Books (S.S.A.B.) back to school promotion. The event was held at the S.S.A.B. Megastore Togafuafua.

In partnership with Digicel and Farmer Joe's the company conducted the draw on Thursday and announced the winners on Friday.

A total of 30 vouchers from Farmer Joe's, 30 from Digicel and 40 from S.S.A.B. were distributed to the lucky winners.

This week's draw is a continuation of the promotion, now in its fifth year and which began as a means of giving back to customers across Samoa.

S.S.A.B.'s Sales Manager, Asomua Asia Stanley, congratulated the winners and acknowledged their partnership with Digicel and Farmer Joe's.

"The objective and goal is to give back to our community and our children," she said.

"We have partnered up with Digicel and Farmer Joe's to help with the students needs such as their lunch and data for research".
