Manunu women celebrate end of fine mat weaving

After three and a half months of steady weaving, weekly checks, and village-wide collaboration, the women of Manunu gathered at dawn on Friday to celebrate a milestone rarely seen in their village: the completion of 20 fine mats, or ie Samoa, through their first large-scale fa'alelegapepe.
