Magele guilty of election corruption

FAST Party candidate for the Faasaleleaga No.2 constituency, Magele Sekati Fiaui, was found guilty of corrupt practices in the general elections by the Electoral Court on Friday.
Judge Justice Leutele Mata Tuatagaloa and Judge Justice Loau Donald Kerslake delivered the decision.
The charges of bribery and treating made against Vaaelua Senetenari Samau in the petition by Magele were dismissed.
However, for the counter petition against Magele, he was found guilty of eight allegations of corruption.
