Five HRPP, five FAST and two independents secure seats so far

A total of 12 constituencies have officially completed the official final count of votes after one and a half days, with five candidates each for the Human Rights Protection Party (HRPP), and the Fa'atuatua i le Atua Samoa ua Tasi (FAST) and two independent candidates securing their seats.

The five HRPP candidates are Lenata'i Victor Tamapua of Vaimauga 2, Taioaliiseu Fiti Aimaasu of Vaimauga 3, Lima Graeme Tualaulelei of Vaimauga 4, Tuia Paepae Letoa of Safata 2 and Lealailepule Rimoni Aiafi of Faleata 3.

FAST candidates that have secured their seats are Pauga Talalelei Pauga of Vaimauga 1, Aiono Dr Alec Ekeroma of A'ana Alofi 2, Ale Vena Ale of Faleata 4, Aiolupotea Tony Aiolupo of Palauli 3 and Tauave Lafaitele Iona of Alataua Sisifo.

The two independents are from Savaii; they are Motuopuaa Seve Papalii of Vaisigano 2 and Fiu Fa'aolatane Ponifasio of Palauli 2.

Up to 38 constituencies are yet to be declared as counting progresses.
