Bank gives $5K to Loto Taumafai
A local bank reaffirmed its dedication to community empowerment and inclusive education with a donation of $5,000 to the Loto Taumafai Society.
BSP Samoa said this funding will support key development projects for the School of Special Needs, ensuring students receive essential resources while helping sustain teacher salaries.
A statement from the bank stated that the contribution reflects BSP’s ongoing efforts to enhance educational opportunities for students with special needs, addressing the institution’s most pressing requirements.
“By investing in these initiatives, BSP continues to foster an inclusive learning environment that empowers students, educators, and the broader community,” said the statement.
School Principal Sharon Suhren, accompanied by board general secretary Andrea Williams Stewart, accepted the donation from BSP Samoa Head of Corporate Jone Vuli.
“This generous contribution is helping us improve resources and facilities for our students,” said Principal Sharon Suhren.
“We are grateful for BSP’s support in creating a more inclusive and supportive learning environment. Partnerships like this are vital to the work we are doing.”
