Renowned 38-year-old Samoan tenor Pene Pati has been nominated in two categories at the 2025 Opus Klassik Awards, Germany’s most prestigious classical music honours.

The 38-year-old tenor took to social media to express his gratitude following the announcement.

“I put a lot of heart into recording ‘Nessun Dorma,’ alongside my colleagues in the Opéra National de Bordeaux orchestra (Orchestre National Bordeaux Aquitane) and conductor Emmanuel Villaume, and it means a lot to be nominated!” he said.

Pati’s internationally acclaimed performance has been praised for its exceptional vocal prowess and emotional resonance. Beyond his solo career, he is also widely recognised as a member of the award-winning vocal trio Sol3 Mio, known for blending classical and contemporary styles to captivate audiences around the world. Meanwhile, the winners of the Opus Klassik 2025 Awards will be announced at the end of June.
