It is deplorable that the navy ship's fuel was leaking into our waters, particularly for the Tafitoala community and its way of life. Considering how hazardous the oil is to our seas. It will have a significant impact on both the water and our land. In addition to killing the fish, it also ruins the reefs and corals. Even though I dislike social media, whenever I hear about such issues, I usually go for information to get the full story, including this ship.

"I've noticed a lot of social media posts regarding the navy ship, which has drawn a lot of attention. I'm shocked to learn that it has also leaked fuel into the ocean, but it poses a serious risk to our people, marine life, corals, and reefs. I hope the government will take action to remove the oil. Since I live far from the area where the incidents occurred, I have nothing to say other than to hope that everyone aboard the ship is safe.

"It will have an influence on the environment of local residents as well as the marine life. Additionally, residents should be more conscious of their safety as well as the protection of others who swim there. It is my recommendation that people should be aware of the contamination sea's oiling and the organisms that might harm both.expresses his thoughts on the NZ Navy ship and its effects on our land and seas. Since the water is completely covered with oil, I believe it is completely unsuitable for the inhabitants of Tafitoala to go fishing at this time. And I'm hoping the government will act quickly so that people may go fishing and earn money once more. I am aware that some of the families there rely on the ocean as a source of money and a means of subsistence. Although I haven't seen any news about this, I have heard a lot of people discussing it, so all I can say is that people should be more careful when fishing since they could catch any fish that contains oil.
Simona Liuliu, 45 from Lalomalava Savaii also noted that with oil spreading throughout the water at Tafitoala, it is quite unsafe to have these kinds of problems here in Samoa. It is a clear warning to anyone who enjoys fishing to be vigilant and remain safe. Additionally, since its palolo season, some work should be done before the palolo is discovered since it might cause it to combine with oil in the water.

Papa Va’a said that it is extremely unhealthy for the residents, particularly in Tafitoala village. Until the government takes action to address the issue, those who like fishing should also quit. Therefore, I would also want to advise the locals to ensure their safety and to hold off on going fishing or swimming in the water until the police and administration take action. In my opinion, the nation need to have enough funding to pay for all of the costs involved in cleaning the oil. Additionally, as you can see, the oil has a significant influence on the water, which might result in the death of juvenile fish and other creatures.
